Eve

Today is christmas eve. I just went to the church with Pappa, mamma and Sara. Lori was playing computer at home. The church I went was so big and beautiful! Usually, in Malaysia's church is not even nice or big. But the church here is so grand, just like the type of church we always see in movies when somebody gets wedding. Once I walked in to the church, I felt something really strange in my mind. I looked at the statue of Jesus Christ and my heart felt so confused. The only thing that came acrossed my mind is a question. This question is : What brings me here? My heart is very pain and I do not know why my tears are starting to fall. Maybe the church's atmosphere made me felt touched.



It's Christmas! I am gonna eat a lot tomorrow! In Italy, people eat a lot during Christmas and New Year. It is their tradision to eat as much as they can during this period of time. I just finished dinner with my host family. They made me ate so much and I am totally full now. My stomach is very very big now.xD

I dont remember what is this, but I like to eat it.xD

Lori is out now. I felt kinda bored without Lori playing computer beside me. He is probably out for a drink with his friend. Sara is at another room. She is chatting with her boyfriend, Andrea. Andrea like to read books, he is a very nice guy.


I just phoned Eng Seng and he is so happy to talk to me. We went crazy because we are so happy about our host family and our new life in Italy. I miss him so much!! Eng Seng arh, faster make skype la...xD I am starting to miss my friends and family now. It's been a week I stay here in Montervachi.

Florence ♥

This morning, once I woke up I received a message from mum that I had scored 7 As and a C in chinese for PMR. I was so shocked when I know it! I did it! Eventhough I know I sucks in Chinese, but I don't care! I like my results, a lot. My hard work finally pays off.xD I like this. I enjoy hearing mum and dad saying that they are proud of me ;D


In the afternoon, Sara, Riccardo, Francesca, Andrea and me went to Florence by train. We had fun there! Florence is so beautiful. I love Florence. I took lots of picture too!xD Florence is a fashion city. I saw lots of handbags, shirts, shoes... haha.xD I bought a H&M Mascara and lip stick for mum or maybe some of my friends because it is a very famous brand in Italy. Fracessca said if I want, we can go to Florence again before I go back to Malaysia. That's so nice of her. I like Francessca. Manwhile we had Mc Donald for lunch in Florence too. It was my first time eaing pork in Mc Donald because Malaysia never sell pork in Mc Donald. It was tasty! haha.xD Riccardo was spending time playing with the pigeons. Riccardo has orange colour hair, mustache and even eyelashes!! OMG. I LOVE IT. haha. Riccardo and Francesca also like Chinese. I taught them how to write and speak their name in Chinese. I think they really like it. I am having such funny and crazy conversation with them. But it is good because I am able to cope with them even if they do not speak fluet English.

This is so so so cute!! I wanted to buy it for Langston baby, but langston only like Thomas, so i did not buy it. TT

Italians talk very loudly, they like to shout and sing along the street like nobody would ever care. It's like they just live in their own world and they dont care what people think about them. They are very different from Asian people. Italians also often go out with friends. They go out almost every night. Italians love to smoke and drink. For them, it is very normal, even teenage smoke very often. Thus, they are quite shock to know that I do not drink or smoke. haha.xD But I am very strong with who I am. I won't smoke or drink.

Right now, I am just sitting right beside Lori. Lori is playing computer games. We have 3 computers here at home. Sara use the laptop, Lori use his own computer and I use the smaller computer. I am taking my sweet time to blog here as my host family allow me to use the internet whenever I want to. They are super nice and I love it so much because I hope to blog about every single thing that happened in here. I felt so lucky to have them as my host family.

Yesterday, I asked Sara why she wants to host me? She said it was pappa's idea. And Pappa can't communicate with me, thus he use use google translation to tell me why he wants to host me. As what he wrote, he said it is becuase he wants to change the family dynamics. Usually, at home, Lori is always playing with his computer and Sara do not like to involve herself in the family activities. Pappa said he wants to host me so that the family can be closer to each other as communications between the family will increase. I felt so... I dont know. I do not know how to describe my feelings at that moment. I just felt lucky. Lucky that I can fully understand what is really going on. In my mind, I always thought that host family wants to host a student from a different country because they wants to understand different cultures and lifestyle. Pappa is very nice to me. Pappa is very cute. I feel like I understand him and the family of Debolini more after the conversation.

This will be the longest journey in my life. I hope I face it with no fears.

Life is colourful here. I am enjoying it very much.

Today was my first day to school. It was crazy though... I was really nervous at first because I had never been to an Italian school before. haha.xD When I first enter the school, everybody look at me with a very weird face. They must have think that it is very weird to see an Asian Chinese girl in their school, very very weird. Luckily, Sara was beside me. She calmed me down. We enter the classroom. I met my first teacher, maths teacher. Sara and her classmates call her the 'Devil Woman', because she is very strict. haha.xP so funny. Then, we have an assembly in the gymnast room. In Malaysia, there's no such thing as gymnast room, so it is a little new for me. The gymnast room is like a basketball court. It s so big and nice! The students dicussed about a party for christmas here as tmrw will be the last day to school. I also met lots of friend in school, they are so nice to me. They are very curious about Malaysia and they are kinda impressed that can speak so many language. They even asked me to translate their names in chinese. They love chinese words, it is like an art for them. I guess they really enjoy to see me write something in chinese.

Italians love 'bodoh'. For them, 'stupid' is like a normal word. They said it like they are joking around. They even said it to their parents and they do not feel rude. It is so different from Malaysia. Italians are not good in English, I spoke with the English teacher here and her english is just so so. But there are also some who can speak quite good in English like Tomato(a.k.a Tomasso). I gave almost everyone a nick name because I cant remember their name.xP Tomato is good in English, but he is a little shy. I sat beside him during assembly, he told me lots of thing about school in Italy. He is very nice. He told me that he was busy thinking of what present he should buy for his girlfriend in christmas. In Italy, it is very normal to have a girlfriend and boyfriend. They do not feel shy about it at all. Lori just showed me his ex-girlfriend in facebook. haha^^ And Sara just went out with her boyfriend, Andrea.

In the afternoon, me and Sara went to the church to meet Ricardo. They are doing a church project 'presepe' for christmas. It is their culture and tradition to do it during christmas time. I was freezing out there because it was really really cold! haha.xD My shoes was wet, so my feet was really cold. Pappa said my shoes is not suitable for winter, he decided to bring me out to shop for a pair of shoes. Sara, Lori(a.k.a Lorenzo), pappa and me went out for shopping. Unfortunately, I cant find any shoes that suit me. I felt kinda bad because I trouble them shopping with me. But Lori said it is very normal to shop a lot in Italy. Italy is FASHION. haha.xD


My host family are very nice, they dont force me to do something I dont like. I like them a lot. They are like part of my family now. They always try to understand my feelings and ask me whether if I am okay. They are very caring. Pappa love bread a lot. He is very very cute! haha^^ Just like my dream Dad (I hope daddy in Malaysia wont be jealous.xP) haha. Mamma is also very nice, she always give me hugs and I really like it! Lori is like my elder brother now. He is SO SO SO caring!! He likes chinese stuff and he hope that I can cook chinese food for him one day! He likes to communicate with me but he cant because his english is not good. Sara always help me to do translation. Sara is very simple and nice. She is kinda cute sometimes. I am sleeping in the same bedroom with her and we had fun calling people 'bodoh'! hahahahahahahaha.xD Love it!

Arrived.

It is my third day in Italy. Really love the weather here. It snows very heavily on friday. I arrived in Rome with my friends from Malaysia on Thursday. Eng Seng, Sinnye, Faizan and I were really excited and crazy about it. We stayed in Villa Aurelia for a night and had orientation there with the AFS volunteers. It was really fun! I will always remember the too-too-train we were playing. haha.xD And something really weird happen. The AFS volunteer there said that it is rare to see snow in Rome. Rome was snowing!! But it is not so heavy. It is really nice to see snow. It was my first time.

On the next day, I sat a train from Rome to Arezzo, my host family city. The train delayed almost two hours. Me and Roberta had a nice conversation in the train while I was going to meet my host family. When I arrived to Arezzo, I saw snow everywhere! My god, that was really really beautiful. Never seen snow all over the street before.

I arrived to the station of Arezzo. Came down from the train. I was looking forward to meet my host family. Suddenly, I saw a man holding a paper, waving in the air. It is written"WELCOME KRYSTLE". WOW. I recognize the man, it was pappa Ivo. Soon, I saw Sara, mamma Barbara and Lorenzo. ARHHH!! Gave all of them a big hug and kiss. Lorenzo and Pappa helped me with my luggage, they are so generous.xD haha^^ The journey to my host family house took about an hour. We chat in the car. Talking with them is kinda hard cause they only understand a little bit of English. Italians are not good in English... hahahahhahaha.xP

Snow is everywhere. Love it.

Once I arrived, I gave them present. They bought present for me too! They bought a really nice winter jacket for me.xD Love them so much!!!!

Italians love oriagami. Francessca taught me how to make a snowman paper. hahaha.xD Carino

This morning, Sara, pappa and mamma bring me out to play with snowballs. It was fun!!! So cold! I wore the skiing jacket.xD First time for me again!

3 more days to go.

My dreams are getting closer. So close yet so many goodbyes. This is how it should be. This is how I had expected. Soon and later, I will be facing one of the most challenging journey in my life. But I never thought that in this moment, now I am afraid...

Last week, I had a gathering with my families. It's been a long while since the last gathering. I guess everyone is just busy working. Life seems a little miserable after listening to too many untold story. It's better to be a small kid like Langston baby sleeping in his pram...

I am glad that I am finally done with shopping. I bought lots of present for my host family.xD lalala~ I really hope they will like it. After all, it's Christmas. Who doesn't like presents? hehe^^

Today I will be doing slide show about Malaysia, gonna do lots of presentation stuff there.... Looking for Malay songs and picture now.xP

Btw, Taylor swift's songs are awesome. I still love her voice. :D

Life is short

8 more days to go.

Somebody told me that life is getting shorter thesedays. Life is short, thus I wanna climb as high as I can now ;) I don't wanna waste my time anymore...

Had been chatting quite a few times with my host brother, Lorenzo.Yesterday was Sara's birthday but she is sick, she is not feeling well... Haiz, pity her lo. Hope she will get well soon.xD Daddy Ivo remind me to bring thick jackets becz it's really cold there... They said they will bring me to see snow as I have never seen snow in my life before!. They said playing with snowball and skating is fun.xD OMG, that's so nice! I am excited already! :D

I discovered that my host family don't really understand english. I spend whole night chatting with them through google translate. Haiz, it's really hard to communicate la~ Help! Lorenzo said Italiano is their main domestic language. They learn latin and English a little, but they don't really speak. It will be a problem when I go there if I don't learn my italiano well now... I am learning Italiano now. Seriously learning... Here's my homework :

He said he will teach me to cook Pizza, but in return I have to teach them some Malaysian food recipe. haha, frankly, I am not even good in cooking. I just know how to cook maggi, egg and steam rice with my rice cooker.xP But I am also trying to cook some now... Last week, Mum taught me how to cook my favourite dish, potato chicken. I cook it myself today! My family thought it was nice though. Yummy :)


Lalala~ My cousins are coming back from Singapore today. Marcus had been waiting for this long enough.xD haha^^ Hope we will have great time together ba~ After this I will go to Italy le... Kinda tak sampai hati lo, but still very excited to go!!

Life with hope is wonderful

Time is running really fast. I will be flying to Italy 10 more days later. My heart told me that I should keep all my feelings now to enjoy my life now.

I also had conversation with my host brother and host sister, Lorenzo and Sara through Facebook.xP Both are really nice. Mummy Barbara even asked me where would I like to visit in Italy as it will be a Christmas Holiday there. I really cant wait to meet them! But, the only problem now is just that I am a little scared. Haiz. Scared of so many things la~

NEWs from Italy

If u right beside me, I will probably scream really loud now. I just got some information about my host family in Italy! Cant believe it until I saw those letters! My host family is staying in Montevarchi, Arezzo. It's somewhere located near Florence, Italy. I will also be having a host father Ivo, mother Barbara, brother Lorenzo and sister Sara. Both Lorenzo and Sara is elder than me. Omg, that's great! I had always wanted an elder brother and sister. I will surely have fun with them! Cant wait to meet all of them!

Btw, I also found them in Facebook! Arhhhhh, waiting for their friend confirmation now... They must be sleeping now, cz it's midnight there in Italy.

Besides, I am so gonna meet my new AFS friends in the orientation day! We are gonna meet each other in person!

Somehow, I felt life is colourful. And in order to enjoy the moment of life, I should stay strong ♥

Hey there, I am home :D This post is all about Penang Trip with my family orh.xD Actually, it was kinda bored for the first few days, cz daddy have to prepare for his 42km marathon race. Me, mummy and Marcus was doing nothing. But it's a good news that I found internet connection at the resprt I stay in. At least, I still can surf a little.xP Haha, my new phone has Wifi so fun leh (ignore me showing off.xD) hehe^^

Unfortunately, the night before daddy's race, he was to excited and anxious, I guess. Then he couldnt sleep well and went down for a midnight walk with Marcus. His race started at 2am in the morning, he went off at 12 sharp. Everyone wishes him good luck and we are back to bed. I know, it's so not supportive, but takkan we wait for him him running the whole night right?xD

Meanwhile, me and mummy was busy watching badminton guangzhou open, we were really crazy over it. but Lee Chong Wei did not win Lin dan... Koo Kien kiet and Tan Boon Heong also lost to the indonesians pair. What a pity! And the worst part was, I dint even get to see Tago's appearance la!! Where's my Tago?? I miss him so badly ;(



Starting on the third day of trip, my family and I went to numerous restaurants and kopitiam to search for Penang's famous char kuey tiao and curry laksa.They are all tasty. I like ♥ We also went up to Penang Hill, Bukit Bendera. The view there was really niceeeeeeeeeeeee! I love the Davidbrown's reataurant up the hill the most. It was kinda like a British style restaurant, very grand and outdoor type. In the restaurant, the whole view of Penang bridge, building, houses, hotel and beaches are in sight. It was a great satisfaction looking at the sceneries. i enjoy having tea with my family in such a beautiful place, it was my best moment in this Penang Trip of all.

I woke up really late yesterday. Nobody call me to wake up. I spend my whole morning lying on my bed. I had funny dream. Dunno what dream, I forgotten. I ate breakfast at 11, it was really late!

Afternoon, me and mummy was shopping for winter clothes. I wore Tiing's favourite long flower-ish dress., feels a little weird, but i think it's fine though. We shopped for the whole day. Finally, managed to buy my long johns, 2 coats, a scarf, a hand glove, a hat, some turtle neck clothes and an Italian dictionary. haha... Dont ask me about the price, I couldnt bare to see it myself too. Thanks, mummy ♥

I am going to Penang tomorrow, will be back on Tuesday. Hope it will be a nice vacation for me and my family. I am going there to eattttttttttttttttttt! haha.xP

I am currently very angry with Marcus... He's very very very irritating la! Haiz. Mummy is watching Badminton now. I have only half an hour to blog. This is a torture!
